Mechanical engineers make the world go round. These out-of-box thinkers are at the heart of the engineering, manufacturing, transportation and electronics industries, ensuring that products and systems perform as intended. When a mechanical engineer solves an engineering challenge, they are not only fulfilling the role of innovator. They are working to make the world an easier, safer and smarter place.

In a field that prides itself on pushing the boundaries of technology, an engineer’s worth is measured by their ability to adapt at the same pace as their industry. Engineering professionals, regardless of their level of experience, must keep up with emerging fields, trends and technologies. To help mechanical engineers remain at the forefront of an ever-changing landscape, The University of Texas at Austin and the Cockrell School of Engineering are proud to offer two 100% online engineering programs: the Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering and the Mechanical Engineering Controls Graduate Certificate.

Choose From Two 100% Online Mechanical Engineering Programs

Ranked among the top engineering programs in the country, our 30-credit-hour, non-thesis Executive MS in Mechanical Engineering program provides a first-rate education to engineering professionals around the globe.
